We are husband and wife, owners and creators of Umalas. 

Umalas is an ethical children’s wear clothing label, designed in Melbourne, Australia and produced on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. 

We bring you nature inspired, minimalist clothing for your little one to wear and love. With sustainability in mind, our pieces are designed to be worn through all seasons— on their own or with a few extra layers when the days are cool.

We are moved to produce ethical and sustainable clothing that isn’t driven by current trends or seasons. Rather, they are timeless pieces that will be treasured and passed down onto your next little one as they grow. 

We draw inspiration from our beautiful planet earth, natural tones and simplistic designs. We only use high quality fibres to achieve the beautiful pieces we are so proud to bring to you.

Bali is an island very close to our heart. It’s the hometown of my dear husband, the place we met and fell in love and the place we hope to raise our family. We hope that we can bring an essence of this beautiful place into what we create and do. 

We greatly value our faith, a simple wholistic lifestyle, gaining wisdom from those who have gone before us and giving back where we can. 

Derived from a dream, we put pencil to paper and with a whole lot of faith, Umalas was brought to life. We hope you will love our pieces as much as we do.
